Voices of fear roam the labor market these days as multi industry Automation is finally knocking on the door steps.
McDonald has just experimented with automated restaurants. One bar in the west coast just experimented with a robot bartender.
Factories and warehouses such as amazon and others alike have already implement behemoth automation to heavily cut labor cost.
And it is not just the manufacturing and retail sector, but but also the service sector where automated software are replacing intellectual labor, such as the legal industry.
So is this final Automation of all jobs and all things truly the Final killer of all jobs?

If past history is any guide (such as the computer and software industry history), not only will automation not be that killer, it will create an unprecedented new renaissance of jobs and Opportunities.
A Golden era of Entrepreneurship.
There are currently about 6 million small businesses in the US- what if there is 100 Million small businesses due to automation?
When that day of final automation arrives, one just got to be a Marketer to run any business of any passion. No longer will one has to be involved with the manual mundane duties, micro managing employees, constantly afraid of human errors and inefficiency. Most time will be spent on just Marketing - truly competing by doing our best for the customers, in products and services. Entrepreneurship will no longer be so fearful and daunting, where the founder used to be jack of all trades, filling in every single role, from accounting, to operation to marketing, to doing the most manual clerical work - all these functions will become automated.
Entrepreneurship will be much more easier to teach, mastered and Practiced. Anyone and Everyone can finally be given a fair shot.
We will all stop being Employees of the manual, mundane chores
And become Owners.
Owners of our own destiny.
And most importantly, humans may finally be Enlightened and have a chance at Perfection.

It is about time we stop doing the meaningless manual jobs that machines could perform and start doing work that has Meaning.
If Life is about having Fulfillment and Fun, then work should be FUN and Meaningful based on ones Passion and Purpose.
Entrepreneurship teaches us how to Live and Work with Others, and it is the fastest ticket to that Personal growth.
Entrepreneurship will become a way of life, much like breathing, eating, walking, sleeping.
One could argue automation or use of household robots to do ordinary chores will create that ultimate laziness or complacency, the decadence we fear. But one must remember that it still require economic means to acquire these robots, the labor to service and maintain them, and buy whatever supply needed if the business robots would to create the final products to market.
And then there is competition!
Entrepreneurs competing against each other, all using automation!
These requires agile thinking, effort and diligence- constantly! At no time can we afford to let our mind degrade into decadence, complacency.
So yes, automation will replace the manual jobs, but it also creates a lifetime opportunity of what is meaningful and real -Entrepreneurship and Personal Growth.
Yes the day awaits us.
The day when we stop being Employee and become a Founder.
A Founder of products and services based on our Dreams and Passions.
And perhaps,
we will transit from saying
"pay me more"
to
"how do i serve u best?"
